The temperate rain forest includes some of the longest-lived and massive tree species. Temperate rain forest's have fewer liana than the tropical rain forest. (liana’s are woody lines that use trees to get to the upper canopy to reach well lit areas.)Temperate rain forests are also relatively rare around the world.
